Bill Barter is a DFW based artist and long-time member of the Fort Worth Art Collective, with a primary focus on geometric abstraction.   • 7:30 p.m. / Sarah Shook & The Disarmers - North Carolina’s Sarah Shook sings with a conviction and hard honesty sorely lacking in much of today’s Americana landscape. The Disarmers hit all the sweet spots from Nashville’s Lower Broad to Bakersfield and take Sarah's unflinching tales out for some late-night kicks. 

  • 8:30 p.m. / Estereomance - Estereomance, a contemporary art-pop project composed by producer Manuel Calderon (El Cosmophonico), multi-instrumentalist and singer Adria Del Valle and renowned vocalist Paulina Reza, blossomed into fruition in 2019. 

  • 9:30 p.m. / Dreamgirls, 2006 (PG-13) - An adaptation of the Broadway hit following the ups and down of a 196-s girl group. Starring Jennifer Hudson whose role earned her an Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress.

NTPA Repertory Theatre continues its tradition of bringing professional quality productions with adult stage veterans to Plano and North Texas. Evita charts the young and ambitious Eva Peron’s meteoric rise to sainthood. Set in Argentina between 1934-1952, the Tony-winning musical follows Eva Duarte on her journey from poor illegitimate child to ambitious actress to, as wife of military leader-turned-president Juan Peron, the most powerful woman in Latin America, before her death from cancer at age 33. The events in Evita’s life are presented in song and commented on by the show’s narrator, Che.

Cotton Belt Route Excursion (Grapevine)

The railroad is serviced by four vintage locomotives, including "Puffy" the 1896 steam locomotive, the oldest continuously operating steam engine in the South, "Vinny," a 1953 GP-7 diesel locomotive and two 1958 FL9 diesel locomotives. Most weekends throughout the year, the Grapevine Vintage Railroad travels along the Historic Cotton Belt Route between Grapevine and the Historic Stockyards in Fort Worth. Once we arrive in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards, riders have time to explore the Stockyards before re-boarding for the return to Grapevine.

Wetland Canoe Trails (McKinney)
