History
Argyle, Texas came into existence when the Texas & Pacific Railway Company added a railway stop at the base of Hickory Hill Road. Incorporated in 1963, Argyle has become a community known for its beautiful rural character with a small-town lifestyle. The Town of Argyle truly offers the best of both worlds with the benefits of a quiet, small community atmosphere, along with the convenience of its close proximity of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
